Pond Wall Light

The Pond Wall Light by We Ponder forms part of the Duo Collection, bringing together glass and ceramic in a softly sculptural composition. A glossy, opaque glass bulb is delicately indented and set against a hand-shaped glazed ceramic disc, creating a warm, diffused light that gently washes across the wall. The subtle upturned edge introduces a sense of movement and detail, giving the piece a more expressive profile while maintaining a calm, ambient presence.

Developed in collaboration with Cygnet-based ceramicist Ian Clare and Poatina-based glass artist Keith Dougall, the design reflects a strong commitment to local Tasmanian craftsmanship. The pairing of handblown glass with a softly finished ceramic surface creates a balanced interplay of texture and form, allowing the fitting to sit comfortably within contemporary interiors. Designed for bedrooms, hallways, and layered lighting applications, it offers a considered approach to wall lighting with a distinctive material character.
