Returns & Refund Policy

Effective Date: 21st April 2026

This Returns & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through Lights Lights Lights (The Trustee for Edge Unit Trust t/as Lights Lights Lights, ABN 27 025 879 435).

This policy operates in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

  1. Change of Mind
    We do not accept returns for change of mind unless agreed in writing prior to purchase.

Where a change of mind return is approved:
The item must be unused, in original packaging and in resalable condition
The return must be requested within [7–14] days of delivery
A restocking fee may apply
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

Custom, made-to-order or special order items are strictly non-refundable for change of mind.

  1. Faulty or Damaged Items
    If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please notify us within [48 hours / 5 days] of delivery.

We may request:
Photographs of the damage
Details of the issue
Original packaging where applicable

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, we will offer a repair, replacement or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.

  1. Incorrect Items
    If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within [5 days] of delivery.

We will arrange for:
Return of the incorrect item
Delivery of the correct item at no additional cost

Once approved, we will provide instructions for returning the item.

  1. Shipping & Risk
    Returned items remain the responsibility of the customer until received by us.

We recommend using a tracked shipping method.

Lights Lights Lights is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit.

  1. Refunds
    Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method where possible.

Refunds may exclude:
Original shipping costs
Restocking fees (where applicable)

Please allow [5–10 business days] for refunds to be processed once approved.

  1. Custom & Special Orders
    Products that are:
    Custom-made
    Special order
    Non-stocked items sourced specifically for a customer

Are non-refundable and non-cancellable once confirmed.

  1. Installation & Use
    We are not responsible for issues arising from:
    Incorrect installation
    Use outside of product specifications
    Failure to follow installation instructions

We recommend all lighting products are installed by a qualified electrician.

  1. Consumer Guarantees
    Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
