Bespoke Woven Pendant

The Bespoke Pendant Light by Her Hands celebrates the beauty of individuality, traditional craftsmanship and natural materials. Each shade is slowly handwoven by women artisans in rural Southeast Kenya using techniques passed down through generations, creating a one-of-a-kind piece shaped by the creative direction of the individual weaver.

Beginning with raw sisal, the natural fibres are stripped, softened and coloured using pigments derived from roots, bark and soil before being carefully woven into form. The process can take up to seven days from raw fibre to finished shade, resulting in subtle differences in tone, texture and pattern that make every piece entirely unique.

Designed to be mixed and grouped freely, the Bespoke pendants work beautifully in combinations of contrasting sizes, colours and patterns, creating lighting arrangements that feel organic, layered and collected rather than overly uniform. Equally beautiful individually, their warm materiality makes them particularly suited above kitchen islands and dining tables or as bedside pendants.
